Smicon bin washing system

With a cleaning unit from Smicon, several types of containers/bins can be washed and cleaned. The bins are transported to and through the washing tunnel via a chain. Here they are cleaned using strategically placed spray nozzles. The system's insulated walls ensure that the washing machine works very energy-saving. In addition, water consumption is relatively low. The washing machine can be equipped with an automatic feeding and dosing system as well as a steam collector and can handle up to 300 bins per hour (depending on the type).

Sorting out food waste extends the life of the bins and, most importantly, maintains good hygiene. A clean bin and good hygiene are also a prerequisite for getting the most possible yield for further processing of food products in biogas plants.
